About ArialNarrow.com

Why this site exists
Ask a search engine about Arial Narrow and you mostly find download sites with sketchy files and no explanation. People kept asking the same questions: Is it free? Why is it missing on my Mac? Can I put it on my website? We built ArialNarrow.com to answer those questions properly, in one place, without the junk.
Who we are
A small independent team of designers and web developers who have used Arial Narrow in client work, reports and interfaces for years. We are not affiliated with Monotype, which owns the font, or with Microsoft, which distributes it.
How we research and test
- We check licensing claims against Monotype's published license terms and Microsoft's typography documentation.
- We test install steps, fallbacks and CSS on Windows, macOS and Linux before we publish them.
- We name a font as an alternative only after we have set real text in it and compared it with Arial Narrow.
- When a fact is uncertain or varies between versions, we say so on the page instead of guessing.
- We review every page at least once a year and show the review date at the top.

Found a mistake? Email us at mysto9245@gmail.com with the page and what's wrong. We check every report, fix confirmed errors quickly, and update the review date when we do.
How the site makes money
The site is free to use. We run Google Analytics only after you accept cookies, and our install guide includes one clearly labelled partner link to a third-party download page. That link never changes what we write. We never host or sell font files, and we always point you to a licensed source or a free alternative first.
